En la versión fílmica de “American Psycho”, novela de Breat Estaon Ellis dirigida en la pantalla grande por Mary Harron, el protagonista de la historia, Patrick Bateman, expone una crítica sobre un fragmento del derrotero musical de #Génesis. En el mismo, hace especial énfasis en un disco en particular: #InvisibleTouch. Allí asegura que “es la obra maestra indiscutible del grupo. Se trata de una meditación épica sobre la intangibilidad. Contiene unas resonancias que hacen retroceder al oyente hacia el pasado, y la música es tan hermosa que casi resulta imposible librarse de ella”. A la hora de analizar las letras del disco tampoco escatima elogios “En términos de destreza lírica y pura habilidad para componer canciones, este álbum consigue una nueva cumbre de profesionalidad” para luego ir desmenuzando los diferentes temas del trabajo que llegó a las bateas un día como el de hoy, pero de 1986
