Does anyone use Conversations (Android #XMPP client) as Unified Push distributor with Schildi Matrix client?
I've set up mod_unified_push on Prosody and it seems to work — all tests in notification troubleshooting pass and the notifications themselves arrive just fine. Problem is, every time I open Schildi, it seems to re-register the receiver making a new push URL. The notifications still arrive, but by the end of the day I have like 20 HTTP pushers and I have to delete old ones from time to time.
Am I doing something wrong or is it just buggy? Nothing like that ever happened to me when I was using ntfy.

@monocles I've been happily using monocles Android #xmpp client for a couple months now, but since this morning I'm unable to connect with message "Stream error". App wasn't updated overnight, same JID I've been logged in as, credentials haven't changed. Tried rebooting phone, toggling account enabled. Server is prosody (Snikket) and the and JID and credentials can connect from other clients.

Después de mucho tiempo decidí crearme una cuenta en #Signal para quien quiera contactarme desde allí. Mi medio de contacto principal seguirá siendo XMPP junto con el correo electrónico, pero ahora también está esta opción para quien la desee.

Hablando del tema. ¿Alguien sabe cómo crear una automatización en un grupo público de XMPP donde se publique automáticamente todo lo que sale en @curiosabiologia ? Como lo que tengo en Telegram (https://t.me/MuyVary) pero en #XMPP.
Tengo creado el canal pero ahí me he quedado. El de Telegram lo tengo automatizado con Make.com pero no tiene módulo para XMPP

When I read posts like yours, I always see how lucky I am that I don't have it that way. I had theoretically an xmpp account before but only really started after android phones became mainstream here, but before everyone had whatsapp on them.
Then I setup an xmpp server and me and my brother installed xmpp clients on the devices of my family.
We're using it ever since, it only became better and better since the dawn of the #conversations client.
I guess the window to do this easy without much resistance was quite small in retorespect. People don't like change messangers.

I have to say that every time I start my #XMPP client out of curiosity I'm amazed how blazing fast and snappy everything is.
Than I realize that there is nobody left to chat if I'm not interested in random topic-based chat rooms and close the client again. 
It always feels sad, thinking about how we missed the opportunity when almost everyone had a XMPP account (without knowing) and the mobile first trend started.
