"Baby Blue" was released by Badfinger while I was in 5th Grade (1972). From that time on, it was my favorite song.
Until I got more familiar (a couple years ago) with Thin Lizzy, and their "Cowboy Song".
I still love "Baby Blue", but "Cowboy Song" is definitely my favorite now.
"Come and Get It" is a song composed by English singer-songwriter #PaulMcCartney for the 1969 film #TheMagicChristian. The song was performed by #Badfinger, produced by McCartney and issued as a single 5 December 1969 in the UK, and 12 January 1970 in the US, on the #Beatles' #Apple label. It was the band's first release under the Badfinger name (having previously recorded as The Iveys) and was their international breakthrough.

"Without You" is a song written by #PeteHam and #TomEvans of British rock group #Badfinger, and first released on their 1970 album #NoDice. The #powerBallad has been recorded by over 180 artists, and versions released as singles by #HarryNilsson (1971) and #MariahCarey (1994) became international number one hits. The Nilsson version was included in 2021's Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. #PaulMcCartney once described it as "the killer song of all time".

As a single in the US in 1972, it went to #14. In 2013, the song was prominently featured in the closing moments of #theFinalEpisode of the American crime drama series #BreakingBad, and subsequently charted in the UK for the first time at No. 73.

Ieri sera mentre viaggiavo nel 1971 ho scoperto questa brutta storia che ovviamente sapete già tutti. Without You, Mariah Carey, presente? Ma certo! Be', non è affatto di Carey: è la copia di una cover di un pezzo dei Badfinger del 1970. Lo trovate su «No Dice», è un brano come gli altri, arrangiamento povero, ritornello cantato male, sbagliatissimo. Nel 1971 la riarrangiò Harry Nilsson per il disco «Nilsson Schmilsson» e ne fece un singolo: hit immediata, successo mondiale. Nessuno dei due autori, Ham e Evans, è arrivato a ricevere un soldo dalle due cover: derubati dal manager, finiti suicidi entrambi. La cover di Carey non l'hanno proprio mai sentita, ma d'altronde è uguale a quella di Nilsson.
